Our Story
jenna and anna
Two best friends, Anna Linnea Freedenfeld and Jenna Elizabeth Hall, moved from the East Coast across the country to a tiny studio in Hermosa Beach, California, to pursue a big dream. Despite meager funds and limited resources, they found determination to develop a hip and expressive scarf line for women. They began by gathering quotes and sayings, drawing inspiration from friends and relatives. The brand name “Marjorie Linnea” was established in tribute to their mothers. By the end, they had created a concept for a line that is bother chic and empowering.

Their inspirational line of “wearable art” blends expression with fashion and can be worn in a variety of ways, including over your favorite party dress or with a casual pair of jeans and t-shirt. Every scarf has a mantra that can be translated and applied to life, as it seems relevant to each unique individual. These stylish and edgy scarves are fun, fashion-forward, and offer an artistic flare to your style.

Their goal is to eventually collaborate with a charity that supports women in need. They are looking to find a charity that supports mental disease, physical abuse, and other types of life challenges that women experience.

In the spring/summer of 2010 they are excited to introduce an eco-friendly scarf line made from tencel. This innovative line will be available in a variety of colors and will feature new mantras and designs.

"Our hope is that these scarves inspire you as they have us. Thank you for you support. We look forward to your business."

          Sincerely,

Jenna Elizabeth Hall & Anna Linnea Freedenfeld
